We are right now –

KASS Produktion continues to develop choreographic projects and collaborative structures within the Swedish dance field.

Alongside the artistic work, we are currently deeply engaged in the development of SAND Dansstudio, founded in Stockholm together with choreographer Nefeli Oikonomou in 2023. The studio functions as an independent space for choreography, artistic research and professional practice.

One of the ongoing initiatives is Eftercenter, a platform for post-residencies where choreographers revisit and reflect on recently premiered works. After one year and ten participating choreographers, we are now preparing the first Scandinavian collaboration within the program together with Bora Bora (Århus) and choreographer Mirko Guido, who will work at SAND during the coming period (funded by the Nordic Culturfund).

We are also initiating Seniorkraft, a community-based dance project exploring movement and participation with senior citizens in Stockholm (funded by Postkodlotteriet).

In parallel, a digital pilot project is being developed to explore new ways of connecting independent dancers and choreographers with privately run dance studios — aiming to bridge the structural gap between the independent dance field and existing training infrastructures (funded by Kulturbryggan).

Recent works include I AM BALLET, which premiered at Weld, Stockholm and continues to tour in different contexts. The piece DANCING FEAST will also return in a new format.

R E S T I N G H O T – Studies in Social Rest and Public Posture is a new choreographic project currently in development, with presentations connected to Weld, Stockholm, and a series of public outdoor installations planned for 2027.

During the spring of 2026, Sebastian Lingserius works with the graduating dancers at the Royal Swedish Ballet School in the creation of their exam performance (departing from DANCING FEAST) at Dansens Hus, Stockholm.
